car is not idling right

Just got transmission rebuilt now my car is not idling right it take long to pick up speed and when it get over 40 it feel like it shift gear

What could be my problem?

I would start with a scan just to eliminate a faulty sensor somewhere, not all faults will set a check light, do this and advise what you find.
