Won't change out of four wheel drive

Won't change out of four wheel drive. Try to shift out 4 low back to 2 high but cannot select the gear so it stuck in four wheel drive.Don't know what the problem would be had to drive it home from the beach at 50 km/h. Tried to stop to try to put into 2H but won't select gear?

Hello,

It sounds like the mode actuator has gone out but to make sure lets do some testing. Here are some wiring diagrams (below)and some guides that will help you get the problem fixed.

Test for power at the actuator motor.
