2001 Mercury Marquis Coil springs

I have a 2001 mercury grand marquis
I am about to change the coil springs but I ordered the MOOG springs heavy duty.
And I saw the specs and it measures about 14" but it's meant to be for the cars with the taxi package
And mine does not have a taxi package

The other springs measure about 16" there is a significan difference

I'm trying to figure out if these springs will be ok if i install them

It might lower the ride height about an inch and stiffen the suspension some.

That's a completely subjective decision. I'm a performance guy, so I'd consider it a good thing.

Awesome. I thought they wouldn't fit right because they are for taxi package cars.

Diameter, which is the most important factor, should be the same. Taxis just get beaten to hell and back, so they have to be a little tougher. Plus they're more likely to be heavily laden with people and baggage, so they have to be able to handle more weight.

My pleasure. Have been and be careful with the swap. Coils aren't hard to do, but they can be dangerous if not treated with respect.

Oh yes. Everytime I remove it or put it back. I back away. I did see a video on how to do the Lower and upper arms
