WATER HOSE BACK OF ENGING LEAK

HOW DO I REMOVE THE ADAPTING PIECE GO THROUGH THE ENG COMPARTMENT WALL THAT CONNECTED TO THE WATER HOSE BACK OF ENG? LEAK ON THE ADAPTING PIECE CONNECTED TO THE WATER HOSE TO THE UPPER BACK OF THE ENG. THE ADAPTING PIECE SPLIT INTO 2. I GOT ALL 3 HOSE DISCONNECTED NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEM REMOVING THE ADAPTING FROM THE ENG COMPARTMENT WALL.

Can you take pictures and post them please? The only water hoses going through the bulkhead (wall between engine and passenger compartments) are heater hoses. They connect to the heater core. Which has to be removed from inside the car, under the dash. If it's leaking, it'll need to be replaced.
