I was replacing a cracked control arm and I forgot to turn my ignition off auxiliary. Of course, my battery died by the time I finished my little project. I attempted to jump the van, nothing. Went out and bought a new battery, only thing that works are the high/low beams. No window, no radio, no door chime, no interior or brake lights. Nothing. Turn the key to start it no sound.

Check inside and under the hood for blown fuses. They often blow from the current surge when connecting a battery or jumper cables. Some computers also draw higher and higher current as the battery voltage drops in an attempt to keep operating. That can lead to blown fuses.
