My radiator cracked so I replaced it and put antifreeze in and water and it still over heats was told could be vapor lock to run with cap off did ran better for a lil while then over heated again trying to replace thermostat and every one say ill be over to help but never show well im going to have to doit myself so please STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO REPLACE THERMOSTAT PLEASE AND LOCATION OF THERMOSTAT PLEASE PICTURES WILL HELP A ALOT NEED TO GO BACK TO WORK TUESDAY IMA TRY N DOIT TOMARROW ANSWER ASAP IF U HAVE THE TIME (PLEASE) (THANK YOU)

You can't run these cars without a radiator cap. They have to be run under pressure or they will boil. You could still have air pockets but you also could have a blown head gasket now from the initial overheating. The only way to be sure to get all the air out of the system is to use vacuum fill equipment that pulls a vacuum on the system first to remove all the air.
