2001 kia magentis front left of car makes a grinding and rattling noise

it started off barely noticable and gradually got worse after roughly 6 hours (not continously driving) it makes a grinding noise while driving a rattling noise when i hit a bump and the noise gets worse with right turns and less bad with left turns.

I would check the wheel bearings and axles.

well found out the hard way what it was. I was driving and my ball joint went and blew my tire off and pulled the axle out. thanks for the info.
