I have a 2001 Jeep GC. Over the last month there appears to be an issue in the starter relay or something similar. I can try to start and nothing the first time and second time a little faint noise and then it starts. It did this about 3-4 weeks ago and has ran fine since then til today. Tried about 5 times to start...and faint noise like it was connecting but would never turn over. Let it sit and about 5 minutes later it started and doing okay again. What should I do?

Check the battery condition and connections if okay-check/test the stater motor, starter relay, transmision range switch and ignition switch-
