Replaced the tail light housing, sockets and bulbs on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, the brake lights don't come on when pressing the brake. Turn signals & reverse lights do operate properly. What could be the issue?

since you did the bulbs and housing, i would start with the brake light switch. there needs to be power to one side and power to the other side when you depress the pedal.

make sure the fuse for the switch is ok as well. beyond that you may have wiring issues that may require a shop to help you with this issue.
