2001 XJR, 68,747 miles. No previous problems. Regular scheduled maintenance at Jaguar dealership. Enroute to an appointment 10 miles away, it stated ASC not avail, Trac not avail and Engine Failsafe Mode. I immediately returned it home. Now it won't start. Amber check engine light; red low oil pressure. Full tank of expensive gas. What's causing this? Help! Thank you!

Iy sounds like you make have experienced a charging system failure while driving it causing the battery to run down and put all those lights on. You will need to get the battery tested and manually recharge it or replace it and then have the charging system tested once it's running.

I had a question for viceeez my jaguar also is showing up light exactly as you mention I was wondering if you ever found out what was the problem was it the battery or the alternator and what did you do after wards? Did you get a new battery how much was it and where did you get it? One day when I was driving I still drove it with the light that you said the car displayed so one day I was driving when all off a sudden the car said that the battery was not charging right after that the wheel got very hard to control so I got and parked it just want to know what you did thats all.

The lights on my Jaguar dash came on more frequently since my original post. It became a nuisance to keep stopping and restarting my car. I finally took it in and the diagnostics stated it was the ABS pump. Due to the cost of a new one, I had a rebuilt ABS pump installed with a year warranty and it runs great without the error lights now. Thank you all. VICEEEZ
