Need Diagnostic Scanner which can communicate with both or either 1995 & 2001 Jaguar XJ6 & XJ8 Vanden Plas (X300 cars). The last 6 on Vins are 725927 and F38387 respectively. Needs to be able to code ASB modules and reset security error codes. Can OBDII scanner do this? My present error code, I'm told, puts my car in a security lockout, after a battery replacement. I need to clear the code and then prepare for a possible cylinder wash restart procedure. Can you help me.

I feel that you will have to get this done with a factory scanner, many generic scanners are locked out of many European systems, save basic checks, even some top of the range scanners have trouble communicating, i have a top of the range snap on scanner in my business and it will not read some Jags and Range Rover codes on some models.
