Does a 2001 isuzu rodeo require a mounting kit?

I cant find a mounting kit anywhere for my rodeo, i looked at every parts store in my town and none of them keep it in stock. I had it looked at by someone who works at a custom car audio shop in town and he told me that my rodeo dosent require a mounting kit.
