does not always go into 1st gear vary easily and sometimes when it does it will pop out of gear this all started just two days ago, no other gear is an issue i hope it is not transmision but possible the linkage or wishing for a different solution, please help THANKS MARK

check the fluid first.

is it ok after moving?? popping out of gear is not good as it could be a bad syncro.
