Engine Oil Leaking

HII have a leaky(about 4-5) drips per night oil plug. I know the ideal way is to re-tap and put an oversize plug in which I plan on in about 2-3 months, however will a rubber plug stop the leak for now until I can get around to tapping the hole?

Very minimal oil leak-drain plug.

Try a hard plastic washer on it-don't work tap it
