The rear passenger side indicator was working when I left home this morning, by the time I had traveled about 5 miles the front on was working on the left hand side but not the rear one, I was getting a quick flashing indication on the dash and also checked as I was driving by signalling as I passed shop windows, no rear light.
By the time I reached work, some 30 mins later however it was working again, now this is not the first time this has happened, it has been following the same patter over the last 2 days.

I arrived at work this morning and it was working again, I obviously cant say what will happen later today however, has anybody experienced anything similar who could shine some light on the subject please (please excuse the pun).

The quick flashing indicates a burnt bulb or no connection to the bulb. Have you tried replacing the bulb and checking the socket to make sure it is in good condition and not corroded?
