strange sound

When i accelerate my car screeches i have checked the belts and all my fluids i think it may be the water pump going out

Water pump does not screech during acceleration. The belts are out of adjustment or worn. A faulty water pump can result in slackness of the belt if the bearing is bad but it would run with abnormal grinding noises.
