My wifes car vibrates when sitting still sometimes.

When after cranking in the morning or even durig a while of driving when sitting still it tends to vibrate pretty hard. What ould be the reason for this?

Typically the engine is firing. Could be as simple as worn spark plugs. If the engine seems to idle and run fine, you might suspect a collapsed engine mount that's letting the metal parts contact each other and transmit engine vibration to the rest of the car.
