truck eating alternators

2001 GMC Yukon SL eating alternators. voltage drops through floor and everything shuts down while driving. We keep putting in new batteries and alternator and then replace again. We know we also have electrical issue because warning lights some on regularly for things that are fine. PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Are you using oem alternators? If you have a digital multimeter, you can do some tests on your charging system. Check for trouble codes, there are trouble codes for the charging system. Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free.
