I have a 2000 FordWindStar.. the dash lights went out a few months ago ...and all of a sudden started working again. Just last night I go out to drive and the lights are again not working. We replaced the switch to make sure it wasn't that.....what can the problem be? All other lights work...I have no lights for spedometer, stereo etc

Sometimes the dash display burns a resistor, develops a crack in the circuit board, wires/connectors.

First make sure the fuse is ok. Then the wires and connectors. If everything is ok, then you'll need a new instrument cluster.
