when i was driving smoke started coming out the car i think is because of the pressure of the hot oil. is it possible for the transmission to be burned or is it because of a pressure leak where the oil is in the transmission?

Pressure won't burn oil, Is there a leak from the transmission? Where did the smoke come from and what color was the smoke?
