Where is the TPS sensor located. And can it cause car idle problems.

It should be located on the throttle body, on the butterfly shaft, it can cause idle problems, and or shifting problems. With kind of mileage, sounds you may have a dirty idle air control valve, and also dirty trhottle plate. Thanks for using 2CarPros

Do you have an engine size on this vehicle? Nobody can know what setup you have if we don't know the engine size.
