I was told by a dealer that I have a oil pan leak at about a 7 out of 10. After about 20 mins of running car starts to smoke on the right side.So I was wondering when I go back to I need to have the oil pan fixed or have my whole vavle cover gasket replaced?

Whatever the dealer told you is leaking is what you have to fix. Normally if you are planning on doing it in steps, then you would start with the highest point oil is leaking and work down.
