4X4 not engaging I have been told it is the wheel drive control module?

I have been told it is the wheel drive control module. I have looked and got the numbers off of it. I located one on a ford parts website for alot of $. There are several on ebay that say they fit like 00 to 05 or so. However the don't have the same number. Part of the number will be right but the beginning and end numbers are off. Are there several out there that will fit the same part

You can try to plug them in to see what happens is all, see if they work or not?
