I bought 4 brand new tires in September and I had them balanced and had an alignment done also I changed the tire rod in the front because one was bent and new shocks, new brakes. After about 1 month I looked at the rear tires and their both dead. The wire is sticking out on both of them and it's about 1 inch strip on each tire on the inside of the tires their both on the same place on both tires. I asked the mechanic that did the work what happened and he just said that I was burning tire and I don't even drive that way, also he didn't even want to look at the car he just said I would have to buy 2 brand new tires and I don't know what to do. The car has been parked since then because of all the snow. What could be the problem, maybe the tires? Or maybe the car?

He's right. You have a solid rear axle so there are no alignment adjustments in the rear. You have a Mustang GT. You are going to have a hard time convincing anyone that the tires weren't abused. Maybe you aren't the only driver?

I am the only driver because only I use it, so what could the problem be?

Your wheel alignment would have exposed ay issues with the rear axle. I don't believe there is anything wrong with the car.
