I have a 2001 Mustang GT. Car cannot start if 2 or more attempts are made within the same hour. First attempt is always fine though. Slight smell of fuel from exhaust. Wet exhaust pipes/maybe fuel? White/greyish smoke only when cold and ideling. No engine trouble codes have arisen. I do have a OBD2 programmer/reader. Not sure about what im really looking at. No visible leaks on the original intake manifold. No hissing sounds as far as I can hear. Can't decide if I should buy a new manifold or new COPs for the plugs. Maybe the spark plugs are just old, so I have new ones on the way for right now. Any ideas?

What is your fuel pressure, and what did you do with the 02 sensors?

I am taking it that all the regular sensors are still hooked up other than the O2 sensors behind the cats. It soudns like it is running to richespecially if you smeel fuel out the exaust. You might try 1 heat range colder on plugs and make all your other checks like fuel pressure as well. Take some choke cleaner and sray around intake to check for vacuum leak and make sure all hoses are connected. REcheck what you r programmer is set to. If you didn't change the cam yo may want to back off on the programmer setting to a more desireable one.
