smoking/ using lots of oil

hi i have a mondeo 1.8 zetec petrol i have change the oil stem valve seals and have checked the pistons which are fine compession test was ok is their any thing eles which would cause the car to smoke when reving

If the valve seals are new and the rings are good (good compression), the oil ring may be cracked.

Hi I will check the oil ring thank u also keep hearing something about pcv valve could be the problem
