I was wondering what tool to use and what bold size to remove the two screws on the back of the brake cylinder. It is a tight spot and I saw a tool you guys used so I am wondering what it is and size and how to do it with stripping the bolts.

Hi,

I attached two pics below showing the tools used. The first one is called a line wrench. It is designed to help prevent slipping or stripping of the bolt.

The second is a universal socket. It is designed to bend in different directions and the socket itself is an integral component.

As far as sizes, the manuals never supply that information. However, I would suspect the two bolts holding the wheel cylinder in place are approx. 10mm As far as the line wrench, I suspect it will be either a 13 or 14mm bolt.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
