the heat works for 2 minutes than you have to shut it off for 2 minutes for it to work again

it has not overheated just put anti freeze in it will not blow hot air when idling and only stays hot still for about 2 minutes than if you shut the fan off for a minute it blows hot for about 2 minutes

you may have a bad heater core. make sure there is sufficient coolant in the radiator
