Car stalling

My car stalls out when I take my foot off the gas. It will restart. It sis a 2001 ford focus se. My reair shop thinks it may be a camshaft sensor, but will not be able to tell me til monday This happend all of a sudden with no warning. If this true what is the esimated cost? I have no idea if the topics I selected are related to this problem

If this only happens at an idle, I would say the idle air control valve is bad or there is a vacuum leak. A bad cam sensor will shut the engine off regardless of your foot is on the throttle or not.

Let me know if you have other questions. Also, let me know if the check engine light has come on.
