radio is not working on FM

Hi I have a ford Feista with a 6000cds and the Mw and cd player works fine but the fm doesn't all I seem to get is static. Could the problem be the unit? I have taken unit out and check the connections

I feel that the problem will be an internal one with the radio, now that it is out, get a radio tech to check it over.
