I have a 01 f350 superduty that will turn over n start for 5 to 10 times with no problem. All of a sudden it will not turn over. I replaced the battery then the starter then the selonoid on the fire wall to correct this problem and it has not corrected the problem as of yet. I also replaced the cable ends ect. It is important to note that when this happens I can jumpstart the truck n the cycle begins all over again. I have made sure all connections are clean n tight and the alternator is charging so thats not a issue either. Any help would be appreciated.

COULD BE THE STARTER ITSELF---IF YOU TAKE IT DOWN TO ADVANCE AUTO THEY CAN RUN A SYSTEM TEST, WHICH IF THE "AMP CLAMP" IS USED CORRECTLY, IT WILL TEST THE AMP DRAW OF THE STARTER WHEN YOU CRANK IT DURING THE TESTING. THE MACHINE WILL TEST THE BATTERY AND THE CHARGING SYSTEM......AND AGAIN IF THE "AMP CLAMP" IS USED CORRECTLY, AT THE END OF THE TESTING IT WILL CHECK FOR UNACCEPTABLE "PARASITIC DRAW".....INSURE YOUR DOORS ARE CLOSED DURING THE TEST..............NORMALLY, THIS IS DONE FOR FREE!

IF YOU REMOVE THE STARTER, THEY CAN TEST IT ON A MACHINE.......THE AMP DRAW MAY NOT SHOW ON THAT MACHINE, AS IT IS NOT PULLING A LOAD, JUST FREE SPINNING....... USUALLY DONE FOR FREE ALSO

MAYBE YOU HAVE CORROSION OR A LOOSE CONNECTION IN THE SYSTEM
