My 2001 F-250, v-10 gas burner is killing my battery. I drive on weekends only & it sits all week. For the past couple of weeks, my 2 month old Interstate battery has been dead. When I opened the driver's door, I noticed the heat was running, the CB was making a "popping" noise, the radio was playing, the door open bell was dinging, etc...(Key was in my hand, not in ignition)I have the Viper Alarm system on it and a few extra electronics. Worried there's too much extra's omn truck or could be harness. I heard this truck is notorius for bad ignition switches. Could this be my ignition switch gone bad? Ground seemed good from battery. Fuses all good.

If battery is draining with everything off. Or drain is excessive, pull fuses one at a time, when you pull the fuse on the faulty circuit, the drain goes away or returns to normal.

Any accessory that is on, key off, check the wiring circuit. We can give you about any diagram you need.
