what causes the Speedometer to stop working?

I just replaced the IDM in my 2001 F250 7.3L. When I took it for a test drive I noticed that now the Speedometer is no longer working. I've replaced all the fuses and the sensor attached the rear sensor is still intact. What else could be the problem?
