My 5.4 started to miss and smoke when I brought it back from the mechanic after he put a used intake on it. It runs really rough now and smokes white fumes, but it doesnt burn any antifreeze or oil that i can tell, no leaks on the truck at all. What do you think?

If it's smoking, then it has to be burning something. White smoke is usually actually steam from burning coolant. Regardless you should just bring it right back to the guy. I can't understand why anyone would put a used manifold on anyway. They aren't that expensive.
