Vehicle is stuck in 4-low.

My ford when going from 4 low to 4 high or auto will not engage into higher drives. There is a grinding noise when attempted. So unit is stuck in 4 low.

If you have an automatic transmission you might check the transmission range selector on the left side of the transmission to see if it is loose and connected properly. Also check the brake lights to make sure they work. If they don't check fuse and then switcvh which is at the top of the brake pedal lever.
