I just charged my air conditioner and as long as I travel below 50 mph it blows ice cold. When I exceed 50 mph it starts blowing hot air as if I have the heater on high. Any ideas on what the problem maybe.

that system is vacuum operated and you may be getting poor vacuum to operate the system so one of the temp doors is closing or the vacuum motor is weak. check for a slight vacuum leak starting at engine then going to control head. check to see if water valve is staying closed as well as these can do the same thing and where arrows point on system
