2001 Ford Expedition Transmission

Just purchased a 2001 ford expedition 5.4 v8 that's been sitting for 8 months. The suv runs fine except the transmission has a slow/sluggish take off from dead stop but after it change gears it has no problem shifting. All the other gears shifts smooth and engine runs smooth no check engine light. Please help with any info. Thanks

Have a trasn guy look at it it may have aclutch or seal damage or a valve body problem he can give a better opinion if fluid is brown or black it's probably gonna need an overhaul
