Can't pull front drivers side axle, 2001 Ford excursion 4wd. replacing upper and lower ball joints. got to the point of sliding the axle out and something is stopping it and can't figure out what. What am I missing? Is there a C clip somewhere or something else? It moves but can feel it being stopped by something obvious. never had this problem before.
