how to set the timing

how do you set the timing on this escort,just would like to know.
do you have to move the valve cover to do this.the harmonic balancer
went bad and now i need to make sure the timing is set right.if you
could send some pics and info on this..thanks much

Timing is not adjustable, but you can check it with a light. I have attached specs.
