Changed 2 spark plugs in wrong order put old one back on, car turn on then turns off loses power

Have a 2001 Ford Escape, recently my fiance attempted to change the spark, he replaced two and couldnt get the manifold off so just left it. We drove it and it was driving poorly not getting enough power so and a neighbor looked at it and said they might be in wrong order. He changed the order and while the car still drove it seemed to be losing power and idling very low. Also CEL on and flashing sometimes He then put old ones back on and a week later it lost all power while driving it. The brakes were hard and no steering power. He left on side of road went back next day and it started and drove up to around 35 mph then died after few minutes. The Last time today ( we had to get it home) it turned off after only getting up to about 10 mph. We had someone push us home and now we arent sure what to do or what's wrong. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

WHAT ENGINE YOU GOT?

THE LOSS OF POWER MAY NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE PLUGS (OR IT MIGHT)

MY WIFEY HAS A '03 ESCAPE W/3.0L, THE DARN "RACK OF RIBS" WAS A "STUPID THING" TO DESIGN INTO THE MOTOR--IN ORDER TO GET TO THE REAR THREE COIL PACKS, IT HAD TO COME OFF.

WHAT TAKE ME 30 MINUTES OR LESS TO CHANGE "MY" PLUGS WIRES AND COILTAKES 2 HOURS OR MORE ON "HER" ESCAPE + IT'S A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE!....I PREFER REAL VEHICLES (JEEP CJs)

1ST THING YOU NEED TO DO---YOU PROBABLY ALREADY HAVE SOME MISFIRE CODES FROM SWAPPING STUFF AROUND

A V6 with 217,000 miles w/ 3.0 L. I cant get it to a store it turns off after a few minutes. Bad timing and I can't afford to have it towed( why didnt I renew my AAA dangit! LOL) I just want to get it running and able to put down for a new car. My fiace and I only have the one so it's really hard because I work 8-5. He is about to start a new job. You get the picture. I am thinking I will have to get a mechanic to assess if possible or take it somewhere close until to push or tow it there.
