2001 Ford Crown Victoria idles slow, rough and stalls when cold. What could be wrong?

There is a good possibility the Idle Air Control valve is starting to fail causing your symptoms.

It is possible the Idle Air Control valve is starting to fail or is really dirty. This will cause your symptoms.
