Motor works since I'm able to close the moon-roof through my key (manually locking the car but holding the key in that position until the moon-roof closes). The switch to open my moon-roof works but the switch to close/tilt my moon-roof is unresponsive (no motor sounds or toggle),

Hello,

This sounds to me like the switch has gone bad. Switches like these have internal contacts that must touch to close the circuit and provide electricity to the motor, Even though it may work when pressed one way(contacts touching), it won't work when pressed the other direction(contacts not touching) making the switch worn out and no good. I have included a wiring diagram of your vehicle's moon roof circuit in the diagrams down below. Please replace the moon roof switch and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
