2001 Dodge van - Factory alarm goes off for hours at night. Stops/restarts continually. Started first time after drive in torrential rain. Pulling cable off battery helps a while, then starts alarming again in day or two. No known vibration or incident to cause it to go off.

Something is trigerring the alarm and one of the maain causes would be the hood or door switches.

Have the switches checked for excessive clearances from misaligned hood or door.

Does the dome or door ajar indicator lights intermittently flickers while driving?
