My parking lights remain on after the vehicle it turned off. I have to disconnect the battery to tirn the lights off. How do I fix the problem? Thank you for your time and help.

could be a failed headlight switch. you need to have someone check to verify.

If the switch is bad, then you need to check for shorts to power.
