Have not got it to a shop yet they will only tow to shop no charge with repair can't afford to tow it around all shops different answers from computer linkage to new transmission very confused

find a day it drives and take it to a trans shop and have them road test it for you.

how long since you changed the oil/filter in the trans

Doesn't drive at all now and now week later check engine light is on I have had it 5 years no transmission attention only oil changes last one a year ago

from the lack of service, the filter may be clogged causing the issue. if not, then it has failed internally and will need to be overhauled

I do check the fluid in the transmission does not smell burnt does not leak and looks good

For a person who doesn't know better (Sorry) is overhaul replaced or rebuilt
