Sometimes when my truck is idling the rpm gauge will drop down to zero and the engine bogs. This also happens while driving in city where i have to constanly shift gears and only gives out about half of power . This lasts maybe 2- 5 minutes.

5.9 cummins
6 speed
All lights in truck dimmer
loss of power especially when towing

I did and it gave me a bunch including that the timing was wrong. If it was off wouldnt it do that all the time? I had to drive it about 18 hours from pennsylvania to texas and it was fine at normal highway speed but getting on the highway was when it happened

Not necessarily. A vacuum leak would only have affect at idle.
A large number of codes usually means a connector issue or a PCM issue.
