2001 Dodge Ram Own 2500 Turbo Diesel Habit Neutral On Drive Reverse Only Make

I own a Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesel. It has the habit of going neutral when it is on drive or reverse only if i make a turn. It only does it when the engine is cold, once it's been running for a while it doesn't do it. My question is what causes it to do that?

low fluid level or clogged filter. if they are ok, possible internal issue
