Sugar water was poured into my gas tank. I drive approx. 4 miles then had the tank drained and refilled. Changed the lol and the lol filter but truck still makes a sputtering noise and does not seem to be getting enough power. What else should I check and or replace in order to save the expense of a whole new motor?

No, just the gas drained out. Oil filter and oil were the only other repairs.

No it didnt fix the problem entirely, just quieted the noise a bit. Engine light is also on. Would your first suggestion be to have the tank removed and cleansed and the fuel filter replaced? Thank you

Yes, that should have been the first thing you did. Now you keep trying to run it and you may have messed up the rest of the fuel system, mainly the injectors. The more you run it, the more damage you are doing.
