when starting engine on cold mornings, the motor used to run at higher rpm until warmed up. It stopped doing that a couple of days ago.It now starts up and idles at a very low rpm, even when cold.What broke?

try cleaning the throttle plate and iac on both sides with choke cleaner they get sticky and may cause your problem.
