Bypassing AC compressor on a 2001 V8 4.7 Dodge Durango

My AC compressor just seized up and my serpentine belt broke, Is there a way to by pass the AC compressor

It's possible. They make idler pulleys that can be substituted for some makes and models. You can check application for that here.

Thank you, I checked it out and they do not make on for a Durango nor one that fits. Grrrr. I called Dodge themselves and gave them an ear full. Im so sick of this. Since my Dodge hit 130,000 its been nothing but problems. Dodge themselves are useless. And to think, they got a bail out and cant even help a dodge customer. Pathetic. I am so upset.

130,000 miles is a well used truck. You have to expect some repairs.

Not all the problem I have had in the past couple months; fuel pump, flasher relay, cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, water pump, now A/C compressor and the serpentine belt < 2nd time. All in 2 months.
